Applied Sciences Building (AppSc)

Design studies' main building: the Consumer and Applied Science Building Design for Innovation and Technology is mostly located in the Applied Science Building (AppSc). This historic blue stone building is the hub of Design for Innovation and Technology, containing the Applied Sciences Reception, studio teaching spaces, four computer labs, main administrative offices, the office of the Head of Department (HoD) and printing facilities.

Leithbank Center for Design

Leithbank center for design This multi-purpose space houses further staff offices, the MDes Programme, postgraduate student offices and a large teaching area that doubles as an exhibition space for submissions and ‘Sample’, the Department’s end-of-year show.

The Tin Shed & Hard Media Studio

Tin shed and hard media studio These workshop areas are comprehensively equipped to allow students to gain skills in modelling and the practical application of 3D design work.
