Bill Ingram came to Design Studies in 2002 to take up a new position as full time Hard Media Technician. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and a variety of skills to this position.

His background is in industrial and heavy engineering, the manufacture of scientific equipment and scientific appliances. He holds an Advanced Trade Certificate in Fitting, Turning and Machining and a Registered Electrical Service Technician Certificate. Bill’s main focus is in assisting students and staff with the construction of their design projects from planning through to completion.

Bill is solely responsible for the electrical testing of all departmental equipment and is involved in the Health and Safety committee. With the recent purchase of a vacuum former, Bill has been busy inventing and trialling new products. Recently completed products include exhibition screens and custom furniture with many more in the pipeline.
